This past weekend, I had the privilege of capturing one of the most joyful and love-filled backyard weddings in Boise, Idaho. It wasn’t a grand ballroom or a fancy venue—it was a cozy backyard surrounded by laughter, music, and the people who mattered most. Honestly, it reminded me so much of my own wedding: simple, unique, and perfectly personal.

From the moment I arrived, I could feel it—love was everywhere. The thoughtful wedding décor, the relaxed atmosphere, and the energy between family and friends all flowed together in perfect harmony. It’s weddings like this that remind me why I love being a Boise wedding photographer.

The couple, who share a passion for the outdoors, wanted their day to reflect what’s most important to them: time with family, friends, and each other. And they got exactly that. Smiles, hugs, and happy tears filled every corner of that backyard, and it was such an honor to be trusted with documenting their story.
