Guess what? Photo Day is almost here!
I’m Ali with Ali Horton Photography, and I can’t wait to meet your kids and capture their personalities in a fun, relaxed way. My goal is to make school photos simple, stress-free, and something you’ll actually love hanging on the wall.
WHAT MAKES THESE PHOTOS DIFFERENT?
Think less “say cheese!” and more real smiles, giggles, and sweet moments. Instead of stiff poses or busy backdrops, kids will be photographed against a clean, simple background that keeps the focus on them—their expressions, their quirks, their true selves. These are timeless portraits that you’ll treasure for years (and your kids might even enjoy taking!).
WHAT TO EXPECT ON PHOTO DAY
On picture day, kids will come with their class and spend about a minute or two with me. We’ll chat, maybe tell a joke, and snap a few photos. The whole process is quick and easy, designed to keep things comfortable and fun while making sure we capture those genuine smiles (and sometimes those hilarious, serious faces too).

WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?
We recommend that students avoid large graphics, heavy patterns, or neon colors, as these not only distract from their portrait but can also have an effect on skin tones. Solid colors photograph best and help keep the focus on your child. All images are taken from the shoulders up, so tops are the most important part of their outfit.
How Can I View My Child’s Images?
Within three weeks of photo day, you’ll receive an email with a link to your school’s private proofing gallery. Each child will have their own album with 2–5 images, in both color and black & white, making it easy to view and pick your favorites.

How Will I Order?
Families have complete flexibility to choose exactly which images they’d like. Prints, canvas wraps, and digital files can all be purchased directly through the gallery. Unlike traditional school photography, there are no pre-set packages—you only pay for the images you truly love.
Important: The gallery will remain open for 14 days, and all orders must be placed within that time.
How Will I Receive My Purchased Images?
Digital files: Delivered instantly. Once your purchase is complete, download instructions are sent directly to your email so you can enjoy and share your child’s portraits right away.
Prints & tangible products: Delivered to your school within three weeks of the gallery closing. The school will then send orders home with students for a smooth and convenient process.
Pricing
All prints and products are made by a professional photo lab, ensuring archival quality and true-to-life colors. This means your portraits will look beautiful and last for years.
